Neopets has posted on Twitter (and other social media) advertising some new official merchandise for sale.
The Walking Carpet is a Spooky Petpet available from the Shop Wizard for around 2,500 NP. This Petpet is Brown, and it can be painted Blue, Cloud, Faerie, Green, Mutant, Pink, Pirate, Red, Yellow, and Dung. You can learn to draw a Walking Carpet here. On February 8, 2020's news update, TNT announced a limited run of 'Neopets 20th Anniversary' themed merchandise, available to be ordered by any Neopian and shipped globally:
Did someone say merch?! That's right, we have new merch available now in celebration of our 20th birthday, straight from the official Neopets HQ! These limited-edition items will only be available until supplies last, so don't diddle-daddle and get yours before they run out!
Neopets giant omelette. The online store was set up on the Shopify platform, and was run directly by TNT themselves. (No third parties this time!) Two different items were available, along with both in a bundle:
- Neopets 20th Anniversary Rug: $39.99 USD
- Neopets 20th Anniversary Throw Pillow: $24.99 USD
- Both of the items above, bundled for $50.00 USD
The purpose of selling these items was to serve as a test for TNT with setting up an online store, sourcing the items, and dealing with the shipping logistics. The number of items available was unknown, but was limited, all of which sold out by February 20th. Neopets paintbrushes.
