Jul 05, 2011 The cheapest method is buying either 93 Golden Geraptiku Talisman (costing about 23k) or buying 81 Obsidian Dagger, (costing about 21k). Im not sure I understand what this means. Does it mean to actually buy 93 GGT or 81 OD?

WHERE IS IT?
The Obsidian Quarry can be found in Moltara. Simply click the mounds of obsidian in the bottom-left corner of Moltara’s homepage, as outlined here:

The Obsidian Quarry couldn’t be more cut and dry. When you arrive, you immediately pick up your piece of obsidian. You don’t have to click and buttons or do anything at all, besides leave, after you’ve gotten your obsidian.
You can only visit once a day. If you try and return for more obsidian, you’ll get this message:
Neopets reboot system. I can't see JS shutting it down so soon after acquiring it, that wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint. Viacom might have been losing a ton of money on it (after investing a ton of money in marketing) and decided they would either try to sell it, and if there was no interest, they might have shut it down.JS picked it up, no doubt aware it was losing money, but if they cut costs they could keep the site going and push to try to make it more profitable again.It sucks for sure, but I think if the site had continued to be under Viacom and they felt like it wasn't making enough money because the player base was shrinking they probably would have shut it down by now. I don't see anyone buying the IP after this.Or at least that's why I tell myself. I'm not sure what their plan is, but at some point they need to figure out how to turn this sinking ship around or yeah, maybe another few years at best before they give up on it.
